Entomological lodges are rare and precious places for insect collectors. Located in the heart of the forest, they allow you to study insects while sleeping on site. They also often have the necessary hunting equipment (butterfly traps, generator and sheet for night collecting, etc.).

Amazone Nature Lodge (French Guiana)
Located in French Guiana, halfway between Roura and the Kaw marshes, the Amazone Nature Lodge is an idyllic place to discover, observe, and explore the biodiversity of the primary forest. Great place for many famous insects (Agrias, Morpho, Titanus giganteus…).
Our cabins
The site offers 8 cabins equipped with bedrooms with beds, a private bathroom with solar water heater, and private toilets. Three of our chalets have two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. The Grignon chalet also has a large laboratory.
Activities
Several activities are available around the site: walks to discover the Amazon rainforest, cock-of-the-rock birds, or the Diamond waterfall, and an introduction to entomology.
Services
Catering : We offer meals prepared on site using fresh, local produce. Full breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Shuttle : Upon reservation, we can provide a shuttle with driver for transportation to and from the airport, Cayenne, Cacao, and Roura.
Laundry : A laundry service is available at Amazone Nature Lodge. Very useful in the jungle !
